Henry Krause developed the one-way disc plow establishing Krause Corporation. In 2011, Krause Corporation was acquired by the KUHN Group and became KUHN Krause, Inc.

Stan Knight created Brodhead Machine Welding Co. which later became Knight Manufacturing Company. In 2002, Knight Manufacturing was acquired by the KUHN Group and became KUHN Knight.
KUHN joined the Swiss company, Bucher-Guyer.

The Krause Gladiator® strip tillage system was introduced and won an AE50 award for innovation.
